where are the photos saved, that Photos for iMac manages? If I decide in the future to go to another application for managing photos, will I loose all my "Photos"-photos? how do I "tell" Photos for iMac that a new object has appeared and it should be added to the collection? Picasa would scan the directories at start and "realise" that new files were available. is there a simple, faster way, to access an external App for Photo-Editing (the Adobe-App is not shown on the "more." menu-list)? And I thought a good idea to save as a copy, so I changed the name of the photo adding -copy at the end (file ending and directory were not changed).īut the edited photo will not appear in "Photo"-App. When I was finished with editing I saved. So I started independently the Adobe App and opened a photo (I found it under "media>fotos"). I am not able to find the same for Photos. In Picasa it was possible to start it on a photo with right mouse click, open with. I own the Adobe Photoshop Elements App (Version 12). I have just begun switching my Photo-Mangement from Picasa to Photos for iMac. Here I am again with a new beginner's question.
